Fountain Valley High School

Saturday School is now Life Skills Lab. It is a four hour consequence set in a study hall atmosphere. FVHS students may serve a Life Skills Lab on the following campuses: Fountain Valley HS, Huntington Beach HS, Marina HS, Ocean View HS, and Edison HS. In an effort to accommodate our students' varied schedules, we also offer an alternative on various Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons throughout the school year.

• Life Skills Lab hours are 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 P.m. with a 15 minute break at the halfway point. 

• FVHS weekday alternatives to Life Skills Lab hours are 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 15 minute break.  Students are encouraged to bring a snack to eat during break.

• Students must show their current school ID.

• Late arrivals are not admitted.

• Electronic devices are only to be used with the express consent of the teacher.  All students are expected to adhere to the electronic device policy.

• Students are expected to remain for the entire time.  No partial credit will be given.
